Find the source first
Check for leaks around windows, roof fittings and plumbing before calling every damp patch condensation. Dry a small area and watch when it returns.
Move moist air out
Use suitable ventilation while cooking and drying clothes, and keep fixed vents open. Avoid pushing furniture tightly against cold hull sides where air cannot circulate.
Track problem spots
Wipe standing water, dry fabrics and inspect hidden cupboards regularly. Persistent mould or wet insulation may need a surveyor or specialist, especially before replacing a lining.
