Check whether a continuous water route exists for the boat's measured dimensions. Consider bridges, lock width, depth and current restrictions throughout, not just the obvious pinch point.
Speak to specialist movers
A lift and road move needs suitable crane access, insurance and a receiving berth. Obtain a written scope covering preparation, lifting, transport and relaunch.
Prepare both ends
Remove or secure loose roof gear, check tank and battery instructions from the mover, and confirm the destination can receive the boat on the arranged date.
